Former Blueliner Bobby Shea Signed by Rockford

Former Falcon Bobby Shea, after spending time with the Chicago Blackhawks training camp, sticks with Blackhawks AHL affiliate.

Shea spent the end of the 2012-2013 with the Reading Royals of the ECHL and had signed a contract with the Royals for the upcoming season. The defenseman helped the Royals to the Kelly Cup. During Shea’s time at Bowling Green he scored 36 points with 20 of those points coming during his senior campaign.

Bobby will join classmate Andrew Hammond (Binghamton Senators) and former alumni Jonathan Matsumoto ’04-’07 (San Antonio Rampage) and Derek Whitmore ’04-’08 (Hershey Bears) in the AHL.
