After an exciting three point weekend against Alaska, Bowling Green now finds themselves sitting at #7 in the weekly USCHO.com poll. They received 642 total points.

The brown and orange were ranked #11 last week, compiling 452 points.

Joining the Falcons in the USCHO poll were Minnesota State (#1 – 937 pts.) and Michigan Tech (#11 – 496 pts.). Northern Michigan received 15 points and sat outside the top-20.

In the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll the Falcons jumped to #8 with 249 points. This was a six place jump as they were ranked #14 just a week prior.

WCHA members Minnesota State (#1 – 477 pts.) and Michigan Tech (#11 – 144 pts.) joined Bowling Green on the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll. Northern Michigan received three points but were unranked.

This is the first top-10 rankings for Bowling Green in the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls, and is believed to be the first top ten appearance in any poll since the 1991 season.
