BG selling tickets for first-round playoff series

Tickets are on sale for Bowling Green’s first-round home series in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs.

The Falcons clinched third place and home ice Friday night with a 4-3 win over Alaska-Anchorage.

The first-round/best of 3 quarterfinal series is March 13-14-15 in the Ice Arena. Faceoff is 7:07 p.m.

The Falcons will host Bemidji State, Northern Michigan or Ferris State.

General admission tickets are $13 ($10 for children 12 and under) and bench reserved are $15.

Season-ticket holders can purchase the same seats if they order their tickets by Wednesday.

Single-session tickets for the WCHA Final Five also are on sale.

The semifinals are March 20 at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with the championship game set for March 21 at 7 p.m. All three games are being played at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Single-session tickets are $35, with one ticket good for both games on Friday. Two-day tickets are $69.
