Falcons fall in both polls

Bowling Green fell in both of this week’s national polls announced Monday.

In the U.S. College Hockey Online Top 20, the Falcons fell from ninth to 16th place. BG had 289 points this week, down from 531 last week.

In the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Top 15, the Falcons fell from ninth into the others receiving votes category. BG had 44 points this week, down from 203 last week.

The Falcons ended their season Friday with a 5-2 loss to Michigan Tech in the semifinals of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Five.

BG ended the season 23-11-5 overall.
