Mark Pape, a long-time supporter of the Bowling Green Falcon hockey program, died Saturday.

Facebook postings indicate Pape died of a heart attack.

Pape’s Mark’s Pizza Pub, located on the southwest corner of East Wooster and Manville, was the hockey bar in BG during the 1980s and early 1990s.

Pape’s death is the second major passing in the Falcon hockey family this week.

Greg Parks, the fourth-leading scorer in the history of the program and a member of the BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame, also died.
