Bowling Green is back in the national Top 10.

The Falcons were 10th in both the U.S. College Hockey Online and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls announced Monday.

In the U.S. College Hockey Online Top 20, the Falcons received 521 points, up from 316 two weeks ago when they were 16th in the preseason poll.

In the USA Today Top 15, BG had 174 points, an increase from 39 last week. The Falcons were among the teams receiving votes last week and would have been 16th.

BG opened the season with a 6-3, 2-0 home-and-home sweep of Ohio State last weekend.

BG plays three nonleague games on the road this week. It faces Western Michigan Tuesday, and visits western New York for games against Canisius Friday and the Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology Saturday.
