Falcons drop in both national polls

Bowling Green dropped in both national polls this week.

The Falcons played two 1-1 ties against Lake Superior over the weekend in the Ice Arena. BG is 4-2-3 overall and 1-1-2 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

In the U.S. College Hockey Online Top 20, the Falcons fell one spot into a tie with St. Lawrence for 15th place.

The Falcons and SLU both had 274 points. BG totaled 362 points last week.

BG dropped out of the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Top 15 after being 15th last week.

The Falcons had 25 points this week, compared to 49 last week.

BG visits Michigan Tech (5-3, 5-3) this weekend. Tech is ranked 20th by USCHO.
