Bowling Green remained among the teams receiving votes in this week’s U.S. College Hockey Online Top 20 announced Monday.

The Falcons totaled 38 points this week, one fewer than last week.

BG split at Alaska (Fairbanks) last weekend in a Western Collegiate Hockey Association series. The Falcons posted a 4-1 victory in the series finale after Alaska was a 2-1 winner in the first game.

The Falcons are 17-11-6 overall and 13-6-5 in the WCHA. They’re tied with Michigan Tech for second place in the league with 31 points. Minnesota State leads the WCHA with 33 points.

BG hosts Ferris State (14-11-6, 12-8-4) in its final home series of the regular season.

Ferris and Northern Michigan are tied for fourth place in the league, just three points behind the Falcons and Michigan Tech. The top four teams host first-round playoff series.

Faceoff Friday and Saturday nights in the Ice Arena is at 7:07.

Michigan Tech is ranked 14th this week, while Minnesota State is 18th.

Michigan Tech also was 14th in the USA Hockey/USA Hockey Magazine Top 15.
