WCHA Power Rankings: The Short and Sweet Edition

By November 29, 2016Opinion

We know you’re busy. The holidays are coming up, you’ve got shopping to do. We get it. So, this week’s power rankings will be to the point because I don’t get paid by the word (or paid at all, actually):

  1. Michigan Tech – Won 10 of 12 points in Alaska, great goalie.

  2. Minnesota State – Off last weekend, welcomes the Nanooks this weekend.

  3. Bowling Green – Took five points against the Seawolves, only gave up 11 shots Saturday.

  4. Bemidji State – Lost to a winless team. Twice. At home.

  5. Lake Superior – Split at Yost, but welcomes the Falcons this weekend.

  6. Ferris State – This is around the time FSU starts to turn it on.

  7. Alaska – Swept by the Huskies, travels to Mankato. Don’t love their goaltending.

  8. Alabama-Huntsville – Chargers welcome the Bulldogs but have yet to show any good signs.

  9. Northern Michigan – ‘Cats took UNO to overtime, but goaltending is a huge question mark.

  10. Alaska-Anchorage – Ted Kozun fell down while being introduced Saturday. That was the highlight of Anchorage’s night.
