Bowling Green moved up one spot to 18th in this week’s U.S. College Hockey Online poll announced Monday afternoon.

The Falcons received 177 points this week, up from 79 a week ago. They were in the Top 20 last week for the first time since the 2007-08 season.

BG split two 3-2 decisions with Ohio State last weekend, losing the opener in the Ice Arena and winning the second game at Value City Arena in Columbus.

The Falcons are 8-3-1 overall and 5-1-0 in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

BG hosts Bemidjji State (3-7, 2-4) in a WCHA series Friday and Saturday night in the Ice Arena.
